Content Strategy Simplified

Bringing it to Life Since 2013

I was there when content marketing moved from jargon to tactic. I led the charge when it was becoming a competitive advantage. And I've spent the past decade bringing client stories to life.

Clients & Success Stories

From marketing makers to selling services, I've played a significant role in moving millions and maximizing margins. Freelancer, agency mercenary, or full-on one-person marketing department, I've been there and done that. For a whole lot of diverse clients.

Custom Fabricator

From concept to reality. For more than two years, I led digital marketing initiatives for a custom manufacturer of fixtures, furniture, and graphics. Content strategy, case studies, landing pages, email, and even a tiny bit of print.

B2B Ecommerce

One of my favorite clients during my agency tenure, I established a brand identity and content strategy for a manufacturer and online seller of arc flash suits and electrical personal protective equipment.

Industrial Equipment

Another fun, long-term project, I established an industrial equipment manufacturer specializing in pollution control and... cheese melters... as a leading voice in the industry.

Value Added Resellers

Sometimes you're good at something and you're not entirely sure why. That was the story of my work with companies who customized, implemented, and supported accounting software, enterprise resource planning, and customer relationship management software. For more than nine years, my content was the selling point of our agency.

My content has helped move Intacct, NetSuite, Acumatica, and Microsoft Dynamics. I've set one-person firms up for success. I've supported ten of the Top 100 Value Added Resellers. Top of funnel to deep in a niche, my articles, case studies, landing pages, and whitepapers continue to move thousands of visitors to fill out contact forms and make informed purchasing decisions.

Business to Consumer

It didn't happen often, but when it did, I helped some fun clients. Branding ice, serving franchises, or helping early day dropshippers, I was there.

Assn. Marketing

Two agency side projects, hundreds of articles, and thousands of members. My content has sold memberships and educated the base.

IT Services & Products

Good work with VARs brought in new work with information technology firms. My content sold it all., from cybersecurity to edge computing.

Legal Services

Legal services matchmaking or legal services themselves, I've helped both technology startups and law firms find their footing.

Payments

For the better part of my nine-year tenure, I specialized in humanizing some inherently un-human concepts. When hired, the agency I worked at was barely clearing a million per year, driven in large part by a health insurance payments player... During the passage of the ACA. It was the wild west, but thanks in part to my work, we created a beacon of hope and a source of thrice-weekly content written to demystify the complexities.

This unique approach sold. And it sold well. The company scaled, and within a year or so, was acquired by a publicly traded payments company... Who also hired us to supplement their global marketing department's corporate communications and virtual card marketing efforts.

HealthTech

The process leading up to surgery can be panic-inducing. The recovery process can be painful. But one client developed the technology to make it easier. Specializing in PreHab, the client was able to reduce recovery time and pain. But they needed someone to tell their story. And that's where I came in.

Health Insurance Brokers

Health insurance is complicated. But my client made it easy to find a broker who could guide consumers through the process. Through humanized, thought-provoking content, I educated buyers on their options and facilitated the buying process.

The Failed Kickstarter Project

If you take enough time to dig through my background, you're going to find the Manetame Comb. Well, fun fact, the product was awesome. We had partnerships with a handful of local barbers. But we launched two days before "Fifteen Days to Slow the Spread" kicked off. We were too early to capitalize on the stimulus packages. But too late to step away from in-person marketing.

Between the unfortunate timing and the lofty goals, we fell a bit short. And I'll be the first to admit where I dropped the ball. But there was a lot to learn, and if you want to check out what could have been, head over to GetManetamed.com

The Irony of KluberMade

I'd like to say that I know something about working with my hands. But unless it's a keyboard or grill in front of me, I'm downright useless. But if you need someone who's going to tell your story, connect to your audience, and support your sales staff, I'm pretty good at getting the job done.
